Thank you for maintaining this software.

What exactly does this mean?

Configure your news filters to match on specific feeds instead of folders

where are we supposed to select the feeds? in the directory tree or in the filter rules?

both are useful:
the "search in" needs existing feeds and when you delete a feed it would be automatically removed but not readded if you happen to readd the feed.
whereas the filter below needs to match the feed url (not name) and allows wildcards like *youtube.com (press down arrow in empty textbox to show content assist)
location is like the "search in" place but since you can use it with "match all" or "mach any" logic there might be cases when it is useful

Ok I see. but adding via search is very restrictive imho. you won't be able to use 'Match all conditions'
either way, thanks for clarifying.
if both can be used I will use 'search in' and manage addition/retraction myself.

I will still make one more topic about performance/ database initialization compared to rssowl 2013. I only recently switched. Well, the day I posted here.

some cases work with 'match all conditions' depends on what you have and want to do. location exists too
