Compiling issue

Sir @Yenya could you please help me where to compile the "ibus-sensor.c" file and upload it to Arduino nano??
Because Arduino ide is only accepting file in .ino format not .c
if I am wrong please correct me.

This project is not meant to be compiled by arduino IDE. Get avr-gcc, avr-binutils, and avrdude, and call make in the project directory. No need to use Arduino IDE at all.

@Yenya. I am using the new Flysky FS-ST8 transmitter with FS-SR8 receiver. the receiver has an iBus input.
I fly gliders and only want the altitude and audio Vario telemetry on my transmitter.
Will this setup work for my transmitter or is there another setup I can use?
I already have a Arduino nano and BMP280 hardware.
