Cannot save sort settings for permanent use [bug]

Hi all!
Question: HOW can I save or customize sorting in the list ONCE AND FOR ALL? Currently, sorting settings only apply to one session. As soon as I exit the application, or apply another filter, all the sorting settings I selected disappear.
CASE: in the Ideas module (for example), I want ALWAYS and FOR EVERYONE the most recent entries to be at the beginning of the list and not at the end - i.e. reverse sorting by number or creation date and time.
The demo has a similar problem. It is very uncomfortable. If the reason is that different filters use different fields, might it make sense to include a sorting setting in the filter?

Hi everybody! Doesn't anyone have an answer to my question? Is this possible? Impossible? Is that how it was intended? Fix it yourself? Wait a little longer for an answer?
