Please upgrade paid Premium and paid Woocommerce Yoast SEO Functionality for Full Optimization of WordPress Taxonomies #21540
Comments
Hi @rrafal889 Thanks for creating the feature request. Can you share more details on the features missing from the taxonomy? We look forward to hearing from you. |
Hello Jose, nice hearing from you. I could post screenshots here, but it is very easy to see the difference when you open a page in order to yoast on a product and you open second page to yoast on a taxonomy. Taxonomy has limited yoast options in comparison to product. |
Hi @rrafal889 The only difference that I can notice is missing on Yoast metabox for the taxonomy, and CPT is "track keyphrase performance" and "Internal link suggestion". Are you missing any other features? |
Hello Jose, I found this:
|
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Yes, currently, Yoast SEO does not offer the full range of its functionality when editing WordPress taxonomies. This limitation hampers the ability to fully optimize these taxonomy pages for search engines, potentially reducing their visibility in search results.
Describe the solution you'd like
I would like Yoast SEO to extend its full content analysis, snippet preview, and metadata customization features to taxonomy term editing, similar to what is available for posts and pages. This would allow users to fully optimize their taxonomy pages for SEO.
Why do you think this feature is something we should consider for the Yoast SEO plugins?
This feature would enhance the SEO capabilities of Yoast, particularly for users who rely heavily on taxonomies to organize content. It aligns with Yoast’s mission to make SEO accessible and effective across all types of content within WordPress, thereby improving overall site performance in search engines.
Additional context
As websites grow in size and complexity, taxonomies become increasingly important for content organization and SEO. Providing full Yoast functionality in taxonomies would offer significant value to users and align the plugin with current SEO best practices.
