Plugin Indexes vault on opening

Whenever the plugin is enabled, opening obsidian causing the vault to index.
On large vaults this can take a huge amount of time.
This is most likely caused by checking for new daily notes? I'm not sure though, never developed anything for obsidian.

I have tried disabling all other plugins, this only occurs when this plugin is enabled.
