This is an epic created for Zenhub to help us (retroactively) organise the state update rfc.

This RFC outlines how state updates are handled, in particular multiple chain handling, reorgs, and finalization of blocks, and how finalized vs un-finalized blocks are handled. This was originally tracked in issue #1049.

Will convert existing tracking issues to epics instead.

Doing this should only add the "Epic" label to the issue and not modify the existing issue in any other way.
