Biography

  I am currently a graduate student in State Key Laboratory of Electrical Insulation and Power Equipment, Department of Electrical Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University. My advisors are professor Shengchang Ji and associate professor Lingyu Zhu. Previously, I received my B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Shandong University, Ji'nan, China in 2016, where I studied in the Excellence Engineer Class and got the guaranteed postgraduate qualification.

Current Research Projects

  • The aging mechanism, characterization and aging assessment of press-package IGBT.
  • Power loss and thermal analysis of IGBTs in Modular Multilevel Converter (MMC).
  • Condition monitoring of submodule devices of Modular Multilevel Converter (MMC).
  • Detection and recognition of serial DC arcs in photovoltaic microgrids.

Selected Past Research Experiences

  • Taking part in the 2017 IEEE Conference on Electrical Insulation and Dielectric Phenomenon (CEIDP) held in Fort Worth, TX, USA.
  • Design of a bidirectional DC-DC converter. (National Undergraduate Electronics Design Contest, 2015)
  • Research on semiconductor based thermoelectric material and its application in the recovery of waste heat from automobile exhaust supervised by professor Qingquan Li. (June 2014 to June 2015)
  • Design and calculation of a regional power network using PowerWorld Simulator and supervised by Professor Hengxu Zhang. (October 2014 to January 2015)
  • Design of an efficient DC power supply. (National Undergraduate Electronics Design Contest, 2014)
  • Design of an intelligent car race which uses a camera to get track information. (National University student intelligent car race, 2014)
  • Research on structure and electrical properties of graphene and its application in lithium ion batteries, supervised by Professor Yutian Liu. (October to December, 2012)

Selected Social Practice and Contributions

10/2012-07/2016 Dandelion Youth Public Welfare Development Center

  • Serving as a volunteer teacher three times in Primary Schools respectively in Longnan, Gansu Province (January 2013), Weifang, Shandong Province (July 2013) and Ji’an, Jiangxi Province (January 2014).
  • Serving as the secretary general of the center (March 2016 to July 2016). The main duties are improving the education condition in backward areas of China, building communication platform for volunteers and spreading the spirit of volunteer service.

04/2017-now Beijing Enjoy Volunteering Center of Youth Development

  • Serving as a volunteer trainer and spreading the mode of volunteer teaching designed by the center.
  • Serving as the president of the Xi’an Branch of the center.
