Unfortunately it appears as though this console does not work on Linux/Proton-supported JC3. Not sure why it's a problem.

You need to add WINEDLLOVERRIDES="xinput9_1_0=n,b" %command% to launch options for the required file to be loaded. If, like me, this causes the game to run poorly for you, protontricks 225540 d3dcompiler_47 will sort that out.
