I would like to suggest to include an option to display the Fan accessory as Light accessory in HomeKit.
Due to the limitation of Bond Bridge current firmware, I am unable to program the 8 levels of light intensity of my ceiling Fan light. To overcome this I am going to set up my ceiling Fan light as a separate Fan accessory and the 8 levels of the light intensity can be programmed as the 8 levels of fan speed to simulate my light dimming capability. As such, if this psuedo "Fan" accessory within the HomeKit can be display as Light accessory then it won't be confused as Fan.
The screen shot below shows the both the programmable Light and Fan options within the Bond App. Within the Light section, there is no way that I can program the different levels of light intensity.
Best regards,
uswong
