fetch-depth:0 ignores ref and always checkout default branch #648

When defining fetch-depth: 0 the default branch is checked out instead of defined ref:
If you look into fetch full history and checkout stable branch logs in following job, you will see that checkout never checkout the defined ref:

Afterwards is working as expected... Forced a checkout in next step and confirmed that everything is as expected.
