Does not work in Gmail's New Compose window

Gmail has a new "Compose" feature that is currently still in Beta.

While it supports the normal rich text markup and also responds to shortcuts such as ⌘B etc., MDH doesn't appear to work in this field. Clicking the button does nothing—same for the Markdown Toggle! from the context menu.

I'm using Chrome 26.0.1403.0 (dev) and MDH 2.7.0.

Would it be possible to add this?

Never mind. For some reason it works now? I just had to reload Gmail.

Yeah, you have to reload your webmail page or restart your browser. Glad you sorted it out (and that it's not actually broken).
