Custom actions don't work. #18
Comments
Try this alternative on Windows: http://alternativeto.net/software/hygeia/ |
I really wish I had time to take belvedere further but I don't. @adampash told me (on twitter if I recall correctly) he pretty much abandoned it a while ago though he's more then happy to get pull requests. |
Hygeia also hasn't been updated for years, but custom actions work. |
This seems like the most up-to-date alternative (last update today May 28th, 2016) http://www.dropitproject.com/ |
When a trigger is activated, the desired custom action isn't run. My goal is to run a Python script when a folder has changes. This script is never run. I tried running from a batch script, and from an .exe compiled from the Python script. Neither is run, and both are confirmed to work through direct execution.
Belvedere looks entirely abandoned, unfortunately. Why are there so few useful utility applications on Windows? I wish I could have Hazel.
