Subject of the issue/enhancement/features
It's quite common that you may want to make the back button work as a home button instead, for example if you're using the Page Nav component and want this to consistently take you back to the menu.
Currently if you want to make this change (as far as I know), the only way to do this is by duplicating the .hbs file into your theme and changing this value from
backButton
tohomeButton
.It would be really useful if this was exposed to both the Framework and the Authoring Tool, so that the author could change this functionality themselves.
.... Having looked at this button more, I'm not sure what the point of
js-nav-home-btn
is, as it doesn't seem to do anything as this functionality is handled in this function?Your environment
