What is the security measure for this implementation?

Hi,

While surfing about the performance, gone threw about this js. A quick question before i explore more on this.

If the script file saved as local storage, then there may be a chance person can edit a script content & save it wisely. In that case there may be a chance of XSS execution over the system.

How basket.js is handling such cases? (Please ignore if the question is already raised)
