Maven Archetype version is provided by the user while creating a project, then why we can't store it in the pom file like other properties? If we can store other input props in the pom file, then why we can't store the version? It's an important data.
We should be able to find the version in the pom file only.
Usage: During a TAM activity - Environment review, we need to find out the archetype version.
