AEPCore dependency

Hello guys, when I updated the @adobe/react-native-aepcore dependency in my project to version 5.0.1 and tried to update my pod, I got the AEPCore version in my Podfile.lock displayed in the image below.

I assume the new react-native-aepcore is incompatible with the latest iOS AEPCore version 5.0.0, which was published 3 weeks ago (https://github.com/adobe/aepsdk-core-ios/releases/tag/5.0.0). In that case, when will we have a compatible version? Are there any plans to do that?
