Hi there,

Recently got back into using Brackets as it has such a lovely feel. However one thing thats stopped me from using it full time is whenever i try open a document saved within a folder or just on my desktop, Brackets just locks up and crashes. Not sure if this is a known bug but thought I'd submit just incase it's not.

I'm on Windows 7. I thought at first it might just be one project in particular that was problematic but I've tested again on another pc and i got the same issue. Is there a work-around for this?

We've had reports about a problem with the code that parses JS for hinting.
Which Brackets build are you using?
Which JS libraries, if any, are you using in your project?

We posted a Sprint 34.1 build on http://download.brackets.io to fix some crashers that were reported. Let us know if you're still having the problem in that build.

Closing since this sounds exactly like the bug #6067 that is fixed in the 34.1 release. @vdecree if you still see it with the new build that was just released today, please let me know and we can reopen.
