As I'm installing vol2bird on the Lisa Cluster I had some issues with the RSL installation. I believe I had (in the vol2bird repo) noted that I ran into that problem too on my local machine. I was told RSL was for reading NEXRAD data and since I was not planning on reading NEXRAD data the solution was then to skip RSL which I've done again now.

The solution seems to work and I think it would be nice to in the future be able to have a flag that prevents RSL to be installed
