This is more of a long shot.
I noticed that the notation supports movement annotation.
If I am correct this is currently not supported in the designer.
This is for me more a matter of what the designer wants to achieve and how @adri326 envisioned it.
If it is designed to create basic 5d chess variants this is already more than sufficient.
If it aims to be able to create puzzles, for more complex puzzles the saving of movement annotation would be a must have and also the designer would have to have a way to visualize these movements. (but then again, it would basicly convert into a chessin5d human vs human game 🙈
