Automatically determine virtual trackpad resolution #2

Right now the virtual trackpad resolution defaults to 12. This is a completely arbitrary number and I actually end up using 23 most of the time instead.

I should find a way to determine an appropriate resolution for the trackpad, probably based on the input device that is being used for the swipe somehow.
