Changing themes selection crashes BSMM

On a fresh install, when clicking the dropdown the selecting themes, the mod manager says "not responding," doesn't drop down, and inherently close itself.
I reopened the program and was able to drop down the second time, but when I selected "dark," the program closed itself without saying "not responding" again.
