It would be cool to come up with some tests that protect against performance regressions. I'm not sure what tooling would be appropriate for this. Maybe @steveoh or @jacobdadams have suggestions?

What would you want to test the performance of? The cloud run metrics are pretty good for response times etc.

I think that integration test performance is my biggest concern. For example, how much did adding database queries to the reverse geocoding affect performance?
