Note that the output can be garbled - this is especially noticeable in exception tracebacks, where a lot of text is written.

I think that is an indication that the duplicate messages come from different threads, not a single one.

If it is a different thread, then this means it has to come from the communication thread of the daemon worker, as this is the only threading we use as far as I am aware

And I am not a 100% sure that would be the only cause, because also just running a workchain nominally over the daemon will have the report messages duplicated in the logs

If it's not a different thread, I don't know how the messages can become garbled 😄
