This period saw our community focusing on acknowledging contributors and preparing for a new release. We made significant progress in updating our documentation and recognizing the diverse talents within our growing community.
A major highlight was the completion of the contributors table in our README (#89). This comprehensive update, meticulously implemented by @akaihola, showcases the valuable contributions of our community members. The table not only lists contributors but also highlights their specific contributions using badges, providing a visual representation of our collective efforts. This addition reflects our appreciation for everyone who has helped shape Darker. We continued to update this list, with @KangOl being added as a new contributor (#106).
We also prepared for the release of Darker 1.2.1 (#100). This point release incorporates several merged pull requests, addressing various issues and improvements. The release process included updating the version number, revising the changelog, and preparing for distribution on PyPI and GitHub. This update demonstrates our commitment to regular improvements and maintaining a stable, feature-rich tool for our users.
Additionally, we addressed a bug report regarding the pre-commit hook's handling of
--from-ref
and--to-ref
arguments (#103). Our project lead, @akaihola, acknowledged the issue and assured it would be fixed in the next release, showcasing our responsiveness to user feedback and our dedication to improving Darker's functionality across different use cases.Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
