This week marked a significant milestone for our project with the release of Darker 1.2.2 (#111). We updated the changelog and version number, preparing the package for distribution. This release incorporates several improvements and bug fixes from recent pull requests.
We made progress on our development infrastructure by merging the configuration of pre-commit hooks for Darker itself (#108). This addition will help maintain code quality and consistency within our project, aligning our development practices with the standards we promote for our users. Additionally, we addressed a bug report regarding the pre-commit hook's handling of
--from-ref
and--to-ref
arguments (#103). The issue was closed, likely resolved as part of the recent updates and the new release. Our community engagement remained strong, with ongoing discussions and improvements. The Sourcery Code Quality Report for our release pull request showed that our code quality remained consistently high, maintaining a perfect 100% quality score. As we move forward, we continue to focus on enhancing Darker's functionality and usability across various development environments and workflows.
