Purpose of useDeno hook with refreshing on every request

I'm assuming the docs are just outdated because the current options don't even support this, but what was the rationale behind allowing the useDeno hook to run on every request, if you can't actually "use Deno" in those hooks? They become more like a general useEffect at that point. Anyone have answer to what happened here and what the future of the useDeno hook will be? Not sure what use the hook will be if it doesn't re-run during runtime.
