LeafGPT 💬

LeafGPT is an open source ChatGPT website's original design clone, created with React (frontend) and NodeJS (backend). It works the same as ChatGPT, but it's open source and you can host it yourself with an api key.

Important

To use this project, you need to have an OpenAI API key. You can get one here.

Back-End

The backend is built with NodeJS (Typescript) using:

• Express
• Cors
• OpenAI API
• MongoDB
• mongoose
• Socket.io
• dotenv
• nodemailer
• bcrypt
• jsonwebtoken

Node Server Scripts

In the project directory, you can run:

npm run dev

Starts the server in development mode. Note that you need to have installed nodemon.
