At some point, there is invalid input:

$ git clone https://github.com/carllerche/curl-rust/
$ cd curl-rust
$ cargo build --verbose
Unable to get packages from source

Caused by:
  Failed to unpack package `curl-sys v0.1.0`

Caused by:
  invalid input

I reverted the changes that caused this 38ac311
