We need to improve and maintain indexer performance across several categories to ensure that the tool is useful and ready for future usage demands. We need performance guarantees around the initial setup and block import, in addition to query response latency with the supported query parameters.

In the first stage of this epic we focus on performance measurement.

From there we need to set targets for import and query performance.
