The underlying data model is just tasks and comparisons. Every time you enter a relative priority between two tasks, it's added as a comparison. When you delete a task, the comparisons remain so that if you said A > B > C and delete B, it can still infer that A > C. They're only garbage-collected when you use the Purge menu item.
This dialog counts and deletes comparisons, but calls them tasks, because I had no idea how to concisely map the concept of a "comparison" into the UI and this is the only part of the UI where it even matters, and it's kind of an out-of-the-way feature.
I guess now I can at least add a help link that takes people to this issue!
I'm counting up all my tasks on Todournament and I see 33 plus 6 that are postponed.
But when I click "Reprioritize Due Tasks" and slide the slider all the way to the right, I see this:
73 tasks? How is that possible when I only have 33 or 39 tasks total? I guess it must be including completed/removed tasks?
