Delete shortcut key not working +unchangeable shortcuts

Describe the bug
The Del (delete) key never worked for deleting on my end.
I realized it might have been some mis-assigned key and went on the shortcut settings to change it, but i couldnt change the shortcut for deleting either.

(actual deletion is working, as ive been going through the right click-delete menu)
