Any updates on this one, we would like to add a link to download the PDF version of the trade tariff but would like to be consistent with the GOV.UK

Hi @matthewford thanks for reaching out.

This component is not currently being worked on. The GOV.UK Publishing attachment component however could be a starting point.

If you're interested in what components and patterns the GOV.UK Design System team are currently working on, have a look at the backlog board that shows all the things as they were prioritised by the Design System Working Group.

If you do get any user research findings from testing download links it'd be great if you could post them here 🙂

A little update on this one - we needed a much smaller component, and in the end just used a link, although I would like a better icon :)

@matthewford here's the icons I made when I was at the Passport Office. I think I used one from GOV.UK as a reference and redrew for the various sizes and colours we needed.

One of the BA's have previously mocked up (on PowerPoint!) the attached image for a manual download of PDF files - not something similar to this I’ve seen on a digital service.

Documents are usually displayed like this over on Self Assessments - although, we think the screen could potentially get very long with document previews for the number of list items we have.

I like the direction this open issue is going - do we have any update here?
