SSR is breaking the page validation due !important declaration included in amp-ad-0.1.js:

<style amp-runtime="" i-amphtml-version="012202042210001">html{overflow-x:hidden!important}html.i-amphtml-fie{height:100%!important;width:100%!important}html:not([amp4ads]),html:not([amp4ads]) body{height:auto!important}html:not([amp4ads]) body{margin:0!important}body{-webkit-text-size-adjust:100%;-moz-text-size-adjust:100%;-ms-text-size-adjust:100%;text-size-adjust:100%}html.i-amphtml-singledoc.i-amphtml-embedded{-ms-touch-action:pan-y ... </style>

I've tried removing AmpRuntimeCss:

$configurationData = [
            Configuration::KEY_TRANSFORMERS => [
                Transformer\AmpBoilerplate::class,
                Transformer\ServerSideRendering::class,
                Transformer\ReorderHead::class,
                Transformer\OptimizeHeroImages::class,
                Transformer\TransformedIdentifier::class,
            ],
        ];

$transformationEngine = new TransformationEngine(new DefaultConfiguration($configurationData), $cachedRemoteRequest);

But empty tag was generated:

<style amp-runtime=""></style>

And it breaks the validation again.

Regards.

@ediamin Can you see if you can replicate this, please?

I'm investigating the issue. So far I've found that this may related to the ServerSideRendering optimizer not the AmpRuntimeCss optimizer. I will post update and raise a PR with a possible fix soon.

@jcastilloa Unfortunately I could not reproduce the issue. At first I was trying to replicate the it using new StubbedRemoteGetRequest(TestMarkup::STUBBED_REMOTE_REQUESTS) in test mode, that is why I couldn't see the css inside the style tag(which is expected). But if I use this following snippet then I don't see any issue,

$dom    = Document::fromHtml('<p>Hello World</p>');
$errors = new ErrorCollection();
$engine = new TransformationEngine();

$engine->optimizeDom($dom, $errors);

$output = $dom->saveHTML();

error_log( print_r( $output, true ) );

Error log:

@ediamin, yes, you have to add the following dependency:

<script async custom-element="amp-ad" src="https://cdn.ampproject.org/v0/amp-ad-0.1.js"></script>

And so it is always reproduced, They have added several !important keywords.

When that code is rendered, it inserts !important in <style amp-runtime> and Google Search Console marks the page as invalid and shows the following error:

"The use of the CSS !important qualifier is not allowed."

@jcastilloa We opened an issue regarding this here ampproject/amphtml#37761. We will add any fix in amp-toolbox-php repo if necessary.
