Twenty Seventeen: Header image disappears when AMP plugin is activated #1182

Something odd is happening with the header image. It think it's related to how the CSS handles the image, but I'm not entirely sure. The image is present in the markup, but doesn't display.

Yes, this is a known issue. See #1094 and #1036.
