Downloading stops at 100% #426

yeah i also got this one |
I got the exact same issue. I tried already 3 times going through the whole process, and I don't know if it's me, but it's always stuck at 100% in the end. |
Currently working workaround is removing language packs in launcher option and restarting. Everything works then and language packs will still be accessible within the game. But the issue still exists. |
Okay, I managed to download the game without the voice packs (thanks!), however, I'm not able to download the voice packs, they still get stuck at 100%. I don't know if it's all of the voice packs having this issue, I have only tried to download english and japanese packs, at once. |
can be solved when you just waiting little bit more, as far as i concern, no need to reconfigure any languages options. just wait for the background process to complete. the current version seems to have problems with UI where it stuck at 100%. So if you want to see if the progress is actually working or not, i suggest use tool such as htop/btop or iotop to see if there is any background process. |
Hey, it's not true. I waited HOURS for it to finish and nothing happened. It hangs on 100% when installing voice packs |
Thank you for the work around. What does turning off the language packs in the launch options look like, please? I can see the language pack that downloaded. I tried putting that in the bin and it just started a new download. I tried manually extracting the downloaded language pack and it still downloaded a new one. Thank you. P.S. It has worked. After deleting the language pack I ran the "repair" function. That scanned all the downloaded files and then went to the "launch" button. I did have to login in desktop mode before the game would launch in game mode. It's currently downloading the language pack, but it is running. |
Check if the launcher is constantly reading the disk (about 40 MB/s on my PC). If it is true, just wait. |
Okay. I'm back. The update came and so did the 100% stuck problem. Now, I don't have any voice overs downloaded through the launcher, the game itself seems to have automatically English, and so I sticked to that. But now, I have no clue what could be the issue. Does anyone have an idea how I can resolve it, hopefully without the need to install the whole game over again? |
Besides leaving it to eventually do its thing - which worked with mine - you could also try setting the launcher to classic mode. That helped me. Update in desktop mode. It took a long time to download, verify and install the update, but it did do it. It didn’t look like anything was happening on mine for ages, but it was. Hope yours works and you get to playing the update. It feels more solid than ever now. |
Oh wow, you were absolutely right and I feel like a moron. All I needed was patience. Thanks a lot. |
you can monitor the progress with |
When downloading, launcher is stuck at 100%. I tried every way to install possible for my os - Bazzite on Stem Deck OLED, it's basically Fedora Silverblue by ublue. I tried distrobox, lutris and flatpak with no luck. I can't go past this screen, no matter what.
