If 'rewrite' branch is good enough to become new develop, then before releasing 0.2 based on it i think we should do following:

  1. Remove experimental-newGUI branch
  2. Close all Issues regarding experimental-newGUI branch & bugs in master branch.
  3. Merge rewrite into develop and work there.

yes, I am currently working on making the rewrite branch have all the features of experimental-newGUI. once it has equal functionality we can remove the obsolete code
