Input is not empty, but "required" validation is not passed when placing letters in field. See screenshot.

this is a known issue and a duplicate, a fix for this is blocked on @matsko's work on refactoring the validation pipeline. I intend to work on this after that merges, which is hopefully today or tomorrow.

Sorry this won't go into the release tomorrow since there were some final changes, but next week this will be fixed with the followup beta release.
