IE 11 doesn't close Autocomplete div when picked

Another IE11.

Autocomplete, in the https://material.angularjs.org/#/demo/material.components.autocomplete screen, when a state that is not the first is selected, it's taken to the input but the div doesn't disappear...it stays open until focus goes to other object
Also, this only happens if no simulated query is selected.(Id est, the simulate query for results? checkbox is unchecked)
