Forms error messages

I really like forms in MD. I like those labels and styles. But my form building practice require sometimes place tick ✅ at the end of the field to mark it as valid or other icon for invalid.

Also there should be a place to display error message. I cannot find good place for error messages on the form.

Do you have any ideas about how it could be incorporated into forms?

Spec shows error messages as showing below the line on the text field in a warning color. http://www.google.com/design/spec/components/text-fields.html#text-fields-single-line-text-field

To be true, I am not in mobile development. And I thought that material.angularjs.org is the only place of demos. now I see a broader perspective what material design is.
