Describe the bug

Ever since v1.4.0-dev.r5383 through til' today, I'm unable to click anything on the Keka menu bar on-launch until after I've clicked out out of the program and clicked back in. The log here should show the error of being unable to click, as well as a successful click after I click out of the window, then focus back in on the program.

To Reproduce

  1. Launch Keka.
  2. Try to click anything in the menu bar.
  3. Be unable to click anything in the menu bar.
  4. Click on something else outside of the program to defocus the Keka window.
  5. Click back into the Keka program. (Through the Dock, preferably-- or sometimes the menu bar still doesn't work.)
  6. Be able to click anything in the menu bar.

Expected behavior

  1. Launch Keka.
  2. Try to click anything in the menu bar.
  3. Be able to click anything in the menu bar.

@HomeStarRunnerTron thanks a lot for the feedback! I've noticed this on old (like Mac OS X 10.10) OSs, but not on Sequoia. I'll try to replicate this on newer versions like your reported macOS 12 and hopefully fix it ASAP.

I've checked this is reproducible in macOS 13 and lower. Is not reproducible in macOS 14 and newer.

Is not reproducible on 1.3 or lower and 1.4 r5285 or lower. Reproducible in 1.4 r5355 and higher (your reported r5383 included). Thanks a lot for the detailed feedback, I'll be hunting this bug now.
