Rationale for this change
This is a follow-up to the recently merged subquery expression support and fixes a bug where a schema was being extended rather than merged (which handles duplicate columns correctly). Without this fix, the test added in this PR will fail with a "Schema contains duplicate qualified field name" error due to both the subquery input and the outer query containing fields from the table "person".
