Trying to add XCP-NG Host to Cloudstack

XCP 8.3
Cloudstack 4.20

I have everything configured and when I try to add a host I get the old "Unable to add the host: Cannot find the server resources at" Its NOT a networking issue. I can use XCP-NG Center to connect to servers...if I kill xapi on port 80 it disconnects, then when restarted I can connect up. I also see this in the logs "Duplicate name: restrict_vtpm" but I dont know if that really a problem. IP Tables have all been checked. I've tried to install XCP 8.2 and get the same results.

Ive tried every google gpt result possbile to help identify my issues.

Has anyone ever solved this?

@chad156 XCP-NG 8.3 is not supported with CloudStack yet. Please refer : https://docs.cloudstack.apache.org/en/4.20.0.0/releasenotes/compat.html#supported-hypervisor-versions

We are still having issues getting 8.2 to connect.

When adding the host I get an error "Cannot transit agent status with event AgentDisconnect for host 1, managmenet server id is {guid}, Unable to transition to a new state from Creating via AgentDisconnected"

Cant see to find allot on this error.....is there an agent that gets installed on XCP Hypervisor server, almost seems that the agent isnt getting installed??

It shows up as a host in the Cloudstack GUI but it shows up in state of alert.

Installed 8.2.1 on a Blade Server that is supposed to go in the cluster....back to "Unable to add the host: Cannot find the server resources at"

This is not a version issue.

@chad156 Could you try XCP-NG 8.2.0? I do not see XCP-NG 8.2.1 in the compatibility matrix. I am wondering whether you selected Tungsten Fabric/TF as the isolation method for the zone? I see those messages in the logs you shared. You will have to recreate your zone with VLAN isolation if that is the case.
