We need to create a website for the project, to be hosted at datafusion.apache.org

I am hoping we can change the publishing action to just publish to the apache hosting service (it may just "work" once we get the datafusion domain setup)

That makes sense. If we publish to the root rather than a subdir, and add the links specified in https://www.apache.org/foundation/marks/pmcs#navigation (if we don't already have them) then we should be good.
