Please describe the bug 🐞

I am running a pyspark code to create a iceberg table in hive metastore and storing the data in S3 compatible object storage. The code errors out. The error message is confusing. it says region not set. but i have set it in the code.
Code and error log attached.

Willingness to contribute

  • I can contribute a fix for this bug independently
  • I would be willing to contribute a fix for this bug with guidance from the Iceberg community
  • I cannot contribute a fix for this bug at this time
