DRM not being removed

This is driving me crazy, I installed and uninstalled everything several times, idk what else I'm missing. I'm using the Kindle PC version to get the .awz file, the one I use for reading is a Paperwhite 6th gen (I also have a Kindle 7th gen available). I'm using the latest version of the Kindle app because the 1.17.4 wasn't letting me download books, even without an internet connection.

If you're going to use Kindle for PC, you will need version 2.4.0 (70904) aka 2.4.70904. See method 2a at this post for info on preventing updates: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=361503

But since you have an E-ink Kindle, I recommend using method 1 at that link. Add the Kindle's serial number to DeDRM's customization.
