Perhaps full featured Markdown would be interesting in News, at least as an optional setting.

(I mean, you can embed images e.g. in Tweets, and something similar would be interesting to have available in News.)

Racket has a markdown library. But unfortunately News forgets input and has to call unmarkdown on it, when someone wants to edit a previous text entry. So actually the first step would be to unbreak Arc to not discard entered input.
