Is schema stitching removed in v1 for GraphQL source handler?

GraphQL source handler in v0 supported schema stitching - this allowed a way to serve a unified graph of 2 graphql datasources sharing the same schema. This doesn't seem to be the case anymore, and documentation in v1 points to the direction of full federation to make this happen.

We have a lead, it's not that type merging is not working, it's because we have naming inconsistency between our 2 schemas that should be the same. In v1, this seem to be stricter and exposed this fault.
