The lib manager and board manager layout their table cell contents by including the install/versions fields in each one, keeping them invisible until the cell is selected. The net result is that a lot of scrolling is required in order to browse through the complete list, making the task of discovering what exists somewhat tedious. This is also not very conducive to a clean solution to the "update all" request expressed here.

It may be better to avoid displaying half-empty cells by moving the controls out of the table altogether thereby allowing more meaningful content to be displayed to users at once.

[PS: do not pay attention to the left-hand side of the screenshot, this is the standard lib manager]
