Relevance of version v23.11

What happened?

Is the following statement in the Readme.md file current?
"For stable branch use --branch=v23.11"

How to reproduce?

Putting anything together requires a lot of crutches. This is not a reproach. I'd just like to know. Do you really recommend it for stability, or should you change the Readme file?
