Middle-click sporadically registering as right-click (not working)

The Issue I'm having on MacOS Sequoia (15.2) on a MBA M1 is that the middle click functionality works as expected most of the time but then it glitches occasionally; Every 5 minutes or so, it happens the middle-click is not working, mostly registering as a right-click (as expected by the OS), which resolves by itself after 10-15 seconds or so.
The triple-tap action works as expected during the time middle-click action is having issues (only available in 2.7).

I've tried with v2.7 and 2.6.1 with no difference in behavior.
